Menurut kamus online Meriam-Webster, misread berarti:

1 : to read incorrectly
2 : to misinterpret in or as if in reading <totally misread the lesson of history — Christopher Hollis>

Sedangkan menurut online dictionary Landak (dari berbagai sumber), misread berarti:
